Operation Wounded Warrior donations doubled this year thanks to our JLCS school community.

Chief of Department Michael Saville, along with other members of the Floral Park Fire Department, picked up donations organized by fourth grade teacher Douglas Palmer and his students. We couldn't be more grateful for the generosity of our JLCS families.

Fire trucks from Stewart Manor, Garden City, New Hyde Park, Garden City Park, Franklin Square and Floral Park will travel to Washington, D.C. and Maryland to deliver needed items to our country’s bravest.

On Nov. 22, JLCS donated approximately 600 items to the Ronald McDonald House. The Student Council was a tremendous help in bringing all the goods over and worked together to load the busses. The staff at the RMHC were so grateful and overwhelmed with joy by the number of items that were brought. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful school community that is generous and donates to such a great cause!
